It has been a kind of a strange day, although i did one mystery shop in Sittingbourne. Found a couple of DVD's for the collection.A classic Harry Potter film and a film based on the antics of an elemental being that can save our world, that is The Fifth Element.

The evening was spent with Phil at the local Wetherspoons pub. He snapped me drinking this dark porter beer.

Staying In

Awaiting money from Lodge as i am down to three quid in my account. Hence not been doing any visits and just staying in keeping warm, reading, and catching up with The Librarians, Continuum and Extant. And watching some more Buffy.

Elegy For Strings

Another beautiful piece of music , this time by Frederick Septimus Kelly, an Australian compose,r and his" Elegy For Strings (In Memoriam Rupert Brooke)"

This lovely short work for strings and harp was written during the Great War and is part of a Dutton disc featuring music written during the war by Elgar, Ivor Gurney, Parry, and Lilian Elkington.

Once More With Feeling

Just finished watching the second disc from the sixth season of Buffy , the one with the awesome musical episode,Once More With Feeling, and the one where a Willow spell goes awry and they forget who they are. Loving these programmes all over again.
