As it is Sunday it is spiritual jazz day, so first off a track by Matthew Halsall and the Gondwana Orchestra with "Journey To Satchidananda" (originally done by Alice Coltrane).

Also from the same group, for all those together , this lovely tune Together -

.. and yet the track seems so sad and poignant. Gosh, i am welling up here. Enjoy.

Sp after listening to some Matthew Halsall jazz, i put on two classic jazz albums, Thembi by Pharoah Sanders and A Love Supreme by John Coltrane. That JC album is now fifty years old. Released in February 1965, it stills sounds radical and fresh. Here it is in full -

Enjoy.

I saw this on FB and it made me laugh out loud. Dunno why? I decided to share.

Or it could be Spike's new form of daytime travel.

Sp last night i completed Season 3 of BtVS in which Buffy gets recognised for protecting Sunnydale in The Prom and the final battle with the Mayor in the two part Graduation Day.  Other highlights are the Band Candy episode, Faith turnimg evil, vampirish Willow and the introduction of the straight-laced Wesley. Yes, a terrific season with some very funny comedic moments , dashed with pain and anquish, especially between Buffy and Angel, doomed lovers like Romeo and Juliet. Let is not forget , also, Buffy saving Angel from the poisoned arrow by letting him bite her to replensh his blood and kill off the fever. At the end of the Graduation Day aftermath he sees Buffy at a distance and leaves, without a word.(This is to allow for the spin-off Angel series).

As usual, a bunch of paper hankies by my side in these moments.

Twilght does not come close.
