More Beer, Want Foamy Beer

Started watching Season 4 of Buffy last night up to the episode where the slayer and her gang go back to the hellmouth to stop it re-opening again. My favouirte of that season so far has to be the bad beer episode in which the ale has been tainted by a warlock's potion turning Buffy and some males into feral cavepeople.  I can relate to that having tasted bad beer where the pump lines have not been cleaned properly and the ale tastes sour!

I was meant to start a weeks course today but they had oversubscirbed it and i cannot do it until two weeks time, hence i had a few hours on my hand in Sitiingbourne. So had a cople of bbers at the ;local 'Spoons pub. Had a couple pints of Summerskills Indiana's Bones (5.6 % ABV).

Afterwards i perused some charity shops and found some CD's for a piffling fifty pence each -

Four Tunes For A Monday

So to follow the last post some tracks from each of the cd's found today. From the Soffia Coppola film The Virhin Suicides i have chosen the final track Underground Suicide by French electronca group Air -

The whole album was composed by them after they hit the big time with Moon Safari.

Next up is Deerhoof, whom i saw live once, and from Friend Opportunity i have chosen the track The Perfect Me -

Penultimately from the folk compilation Feel The Spirit i have chosen Chimacum Rain by Linda Perhacs.

A  lovely piece of trippy pysche folk. Now where is my hash?

And finally from the Jurassic 5 album a track called Freedom.

There are still turds on the LJ site that send horrible emails or comments on subjects they no nothing about. This has happened to rubyelf and she is friends locking her pages. This should be a safe place for people to write and comment without being hateful shits.

Quizzed Out

Watched my two favourite TV quizzes - University Challenge and Only Connect. Did very well on some of the questions in the first show,a nd absolutely surprsied myself with the mathematical ones, and getting the philosphy ones corrrect , despite having Herbert Marcuse's "One Dimensional Man" in my pile of books to be read.



Okay, enough of the babble, off to watch more Bufffy episodes from Season 4 , so i guess i will not be back here till tomorrow.
