So what would you say if you wrap up sixteen philosophical strategies into short punning sentences on a donut. Here is one person's explanation with donuts.

Monty Python often touched on philosophy in many funny ways. Here is an article about the=at comedy series and its philosophy.

Here is a lovely piece by Alan Hovhaness, "The Spirit Of The Trees", a sonata for harp and guitar.

A very gentle [piece to start the day.

Well, that was a wasted day. First i go off to Faversham to sell some books at Past Sentence this morning ,only to find it closed for the day due to unforeseen circumstances, and a note on the door of the shop apologizing for the inconvenience. Jeez thanks!

Then when i get to Chatham to do a mystery visit at a charity shop in the afternoon that too is closed but for good - empty, and hence a wasted journey on a wet rainy day, plus wasted bus fare, and a damn train fare between Teynham and Rainham.

In fact, at first i had a hard time looking for the shop walking up and down that High Street thrice before i asked around. I had loads of blank stares as though i was some alien from outer space when i asked a policewoman and a traffic warden. Then i started popping into stores to ask them what number they were as the shop was at 207 High Street. The frustration was beginning to boil up, and eventually after popping into a pound store, asking the staff there ,that i knew exactly where it was. AGH!

I did contact the mystery shopping company with photographic evidence of the shop being closed, but as i am still on a very tight budget, the twelve quid I spent is something I cannot afford too much. Just hope my payments (from React and MF) come in this Friday.

All there was at the location was this lone hobo in the doorway.

Need some music to calm me down.

Another leas known British composer is Havergal Brian, a very prolific composer, as here is his Symphony No. 31.

He composed this piece when he was over 90 years old.
Performed by the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Charles Mackerras.

Next up, a less well known American composer, Ned Rorem and his Symphony No. 3

Performed by the New York Philharmonic conducted by Leonard Bernstein (premiere recording from 1959).

Enjoy.
