Well folks, just finished watching the two hour doc on Miles Davis. Fascinating biography and wonderful clips from his early start through the late fifties through to the nineties. He was always pushing his sound forward and changing the music periodically from hard bop, then a cooler sound to the more choppy jazz rock influenced period and to the funk fusion of the seventies, funk grooves of the eighties, and finally hip hop.

So i am in Tunbridge Wells at the moment after doing a pub food visit at The Guinea Butt, a non- Wetherspoons pub BTW, and just done the report in a 'Spoons pub. Had to give them a low rating due to absolutely slow service with only one member of staff at the bar doing everything from serving drinks, taking orders, taking food out from the dumb waiter nd collecting plates. Sorry gGreen King but a thumbs down.

Off to Crowborough soon but no chance of doing anything on the Sussex Coast till tomorrow, so an early start in the morning.
