Currently listening to Kate Bush , her double CD release "Aerial"which i found for a quid yesterday. Ambitious and maybe indulgent yet totally absorbing album. Angel will have to wait.

Just watched the following episode of Agents Of SHIELD - Episode /18 "The Singularity" - and this just four more episodes to go, assuming it has the same number of episodes as the previous season. And finally Simmons and Fitz have sex!

Radio 4

Today i have been doing a bit of reading, hoovered this morning and now listening to Radio 4. Open Book, then The Film Programme followed by Inside Science at 4.30 pm.

Later on i will be watching Angel and maybe some Buffy.

Monday night i watched the DVD of the controversial erotic Gaspor Noé film "Love" which i sold on Ebay recently. Love, the latest provocation from director Gaspar Noé, tells the story of a torridly destructive love affair. Half the film takes place in bed, where the two lead actors have unsimulated sex, in unblinking long takes, as explicitly as the performers in a pornographic video. Noé perches his camera right over the action, so that he isn’t just framing the shots: he’s staring, right along with the audience. He wants to rub our noses in the raw truth of sexuality, in the skin and sweat and passion and beauty, and how it expresses the deep mystery of a relationship. The hardcore scenes in Love may be shocking to some, but they have almost no spontaneity or heat.

It’s bold, fleshy and audacious, with some highly charged scenes, but in the end leaves you a bit numb.

Angel - Ep 7 S1 "I will remember you"

i'll never forget, i;ll never forget. Buffy to Angel.

This episode choked me up a bit again. The 24 hours of happiness that Angel had when he became mortal after getting the blood of a demon that attacked him and Buffy in his office. They make love, have cookie dough ice cream and so on.
Then having visited the Oracles to turn him back into a souled vampire and time wound back 24 hours. Doomed lovers indeed.
