In the Golden Hope

A slight curve of happenstance happened. Phil contacted me earlier to see if i was up for a period of alcoholic imbibing up at our local watering hole. I said i was up for it after watching some of the morons that stalk this place. I have not been to our local for a week or so, hence it was about time i did.

We had four pints of quality ale and much convivial conversation.

Earlier Andy allowed me to borrow his recent Throw Back Hip Hop CD collection which i ripped to the hard drive. Some great tunes on that.

Tomorrow is another re;axing day before the trip to Brighton for the monthly Brighton lunch club.

Meanwhile,i had an email from the OU , and obviously they were touting for more educational tuition,which i would love to do, but their prices are way to expensive - and when you weigh it up as expensive as normal university courses. Thank god the 70's and early 80's was the best time to do it.

Monday Musings

A good night's sleep and a lie-in this morning has totally refreshed me and ready for the anticipatory lunch club visit tomorrow.

So far today i have done zilch except for watching more episodes of House from the second season, and dipping into the related philosophy book.

But right now, this very instant, i am in my local Spoons pub having the same brand of beer i had last night. The main reason for being here is that i want to The Expanse and that new series The Defenders.For some reason the Quays WiFi does not like Netflix and yet it accepts Prime Video with no hitch ,except for occasionally being slow.
