No morning breakfast today due to some maintenance problems ,Alas, had a breakfast bar instead.

I added a few items to my Ebay listings and some music CD's to my Discogs listings. Hope i can generate some sales.

I will now do Ashford and Bluewater tomorrow and Canterbury with Faversham will remain on the same day.

The new series of In Our Time started again this morning on BBC Radio 4. The new series kicked off with a discussion of Immanuel Kant's Categorical Imperative. A nice slice of philosophy to start the morning!

I am still entranced about the TV series House MD. He is such a rude ,both to his staff and to patients, insensitive bastard, a misanthropist and yet his diagnostic skills are beyond redemption. So why are we still hooked.
If you had a problem that other brilliant medical people could not diagnose would you turn to House for a solution?

That philosophy book on the series that i read sums him up as a intellectual virtuous person always looking for the truth to give the best diagnosis of the patient's condition but also calls him morally moribund, floundering in human respect and such like.

The subtext to the book is that "everybody lies" and that the truth, as an abstract ideal,is always difficult to find. Perhaps in the medical field this is the case, but does it apply to all sciences. When is truth absolute,or as mathematicians would say, only in mathematics.

So..most of the day i have been chilling out.. listening to music, reading and watching DVD's. House is definite in my mojo right now. Watching the fifth season as i speak with the sixth season to follow. Found that one in Cex for three quid.

Found out that my Rhino/ Atlantic version of "Oh Yeah" CD by Mingus is working fine but for some reason will not play on my CD tray for the laptop. Yet the cheap Hallmark records version without the three extra tracks and no decent biographical and recording analysis CD booklet is totally fine - just bugs me. So as it is not the CD at fault but the external CD drive to my laptop is the culprit i will need a new CD player to actually play the damn CD. Maybe i should invest in a Blu Ray version that will play both Blu Ray, DVD and CD;s in the drive.

I do not like the Hallmark version as there is no details of whom are playing on the recording and that the real reissue offers so much more.

Then i find out that a pub job i was going to do in Sheerness is no longer on - jeez -life sucks.

At least the Gunter Schuler CD of "Epitaph" came in the post today.

Do you suffer from writer's block?

What do you feel about lies?

If man or woman was an island, what island would you be?
