Lunch at My Bro's
May. 13th, 2018 10:05 pmLunch was superb. We had roast pork with roast potatoes, roast parsnip, cauliflower, and broccoli spears in a rich delicious gravy. Mike and i finished off someredvino from Bordeaux and we had cheese and biscuits to follow. A good selection of cheeses too. If that wasn't enough, we then had some tiramisu and finally some malt whisky to end with.
Felt totally stuffed afterwards.

Bookshops and Books
May. 13th, 2018 11:17 pmWednesday whilst i was in Eastbounre, after doing my four viists,i also looked around the charity shops, and almost got sucked into this famous Eastbourne secondhand bookstore, Now if i had fallen into this black hole of a cluttered bibliophilia i would never have emerged!

Now talking of books,Bro gave me a hardback he read recently which he recommened.
It is called"The Tobacconist" by Robert Seethaler. I read his other book "A Whoe Life" last year in paperback. I did rather enjoy that last one and rated it five stars.

I shall look forward to reading this.
I also purchased this lovely book in Waterstones yesterday -
