The Brain Exercise Answer
Jun. 18th, 2020 08:15 amOf those who took part yesterday with comments only two were correct. They were
sidhe_uaine42 and
curiouswombat.
Here is the solution.
A clock chimes eight times at 8 am and takes 35 seconds to complete the eight chimes.
Hence there is seven gaps between each chime. So, 35 sec / 7 chimes = 5 seconds.
So knowing that there is a five second gap between each chime helps to solve the second part.
At twelve o'clock or midday there will be 12 chimes with 11 gaps and thus -
11 times 5 secs = 55 seconds.
Thanks to everybody who took part.

AoS S7 ep 4
Jun. 18th, 2020 10:59 amJust watched episode 4 of A0S Season 7 and I love the way they did it as a monochrome fifties film noir format. I love the way they cleverly keep Agent Sousa (from Agent Carter tv series) alive.
Oh and also I know they jump to 1973 because f this song at the end.
Alice Cooper - No More Mr. Nice Guy
Yeah roll on next week -
Trailer for ep 5

The Nazgûl
Jun. 18th, 2020 11:13 pmAnother rare slice of kosmiche music -
The Nazgûl - 1975
1. The Tower Of Barad-Dur 00:00:00
2. The Dead Marshes 00:12:29
3. Shelob's Lair 00:25:07
4. Mount Doom 00:37:21
An other ultra rare and long time lost 70's kosmische-kraut-psychedelica project published on the obscure Pyramid label for 50 copies, recently reissued on PsiFi. Weird trippy organ experimentations / improvisations with the add of acoustic, concrete noises, guitar manipulations. In the vein of soacSand, Pyramid, Temple and Early Tangerine Dream but with colder ambiences and with a conceptual approach. Extremely experimental release.
Enjoy
