I must have been knackered yesterday after doing the train journeys. I arrive home at 6.30 pm the last night, have dinner, and a couple of coffees, then listened to some music and promptly fell asleep on the couch before getting to bed. I have just awoken! It is five in the morning.

I have some reports to finish which I was going to do last night. I did not blog anything as well. Yep, I failed lol!!!

The US ban on TikTok is now going through, and will now include a partial ban on WeChat as well

If you haven't heard...

The US Department of Treasury has imposed sanctions on Carrie Lam, the Chief Executive of Hong Kong,
and 10 other individuals for “for undermining Hong Kong’s autonomy and restricting the freedom of
expression or assembly of the citizens of Hong Kong.”

Meanwhile, the Chinese consulate in New York is destroying documents on a large scale. Around noon
on August 6, two shredding trucks from a company, “USA shred” were seen parked in front of the gate
of the Chinese Consulate in New York, and videos showed them destroying bins of files for consulate workers.

President Donald Trump signed executive orders to ban US companies from transactions with the
parent companies of these two Chinese social media apps, Bytedance and Tencent Holdings, respectively,
on the grounds of national security concerns.

Well, what a great ending to the last season of Agents of SHIELD. This was one of my favourite seasons and I loved the bittersweet ending. The idea of using the quantum realm was fascinating and complex. I will definitely miss this TV series.

I loved the new empathic disposition of Agent May. Well done all.

Is there a certain shampoo that you prefer over others?

Do you tend to buy one type of washing up soap, even when it's not on sale?

Is there a certain deodorant you prefer over others?
