Monday Musings
Sep. 21st, 2020 07:26 pmIt was a misty dew sodden morning that hung around till midday. By the afternoon the sun peaked behind the clouds, and soon the clouds dissipated leaving a totally blue sky and a warm glow of 28C in the garden. Of course, I took advantage of the situation, by sunbathing again.
During the cool morning I popped into town and had the traditional breakfast in Spoons. I washed it down with a pint of Thornbridge Jaipur (5.7 % ABV). I looked around a charity shop and found another Haydn Cd from the Wire overview of the composer back in 1991 for a quid.

A version of The Seasons by the RPO with the Brighton Chorus under Antal Dorati.
I am also reading a bio on the composer.
Oh and he did 108 symphonies in total, not 104, and 82 string quartets.
