I was going to post more yesterday but after a good afternoon of sunbathing followed by dinner of spicy chilli and Mexican rice, and a few ciders nonetheless, I decided to watch some old episodes of Andromeda from Season One. The complete seasons are on Prime and it was just after midnight that I felt very tired. I shut down the laptop and went to bed an probably had the best longest sleep for awhile.

I guess I was in a hyperventilating state but like all physical quantum phenomena needed to get back to ground state. Such ground states have the potential to be regenerated and absorb energy which sleep is a vital part of the formulae. Now refreshed, I am ready for the next phase of excitation.

Such excitation, such as it is, will be a consultation online with a careers adviser as part of a mystery shop I have been doing this month. Once that process is over, I will be heading to Chatham to do a technology focused shop visit concerning mobile phones and insurances of such devices, and then home to write my two reports. Although after further contemplations, I might do my first report straight after the consultation whilst it is still fresh in the receptacles of my brain.

One thing I do find with early mornings is that refreshed with coffee I find myself fully charged intellectually and absorb detail much more easily than sometimes late at night. Whether this makes me a morning person or night person, phenomenally speaking, somewhat mutable.

Well, as usual, the incompetence of the government abounds. The lack of focus and the confusing messages, the shambles of getting the track and trace that is till not up to speed, and acting like a dictatorship without consultation with the house of commons. Now they are considering a second lockdown and for Thursday pubs to shut at ten and table service only. This I think will be counterproductive as drinkers will drink up quickly to get that extra pint in before the curfew of ten. In fact i reckon some will have illegal house parties afterwards spreading the virus in less controlled environments.

I think the government seems to live on a different planet.

Oh well, as I tend to go to pub daytime it does not affect me but then I do see more pubs shut down and never to reopen. I also worry about what will happen to cultural events whit theatres and music venues in financial straights. So far 2020 is a totally shit year.

Oh well, give me music, books, alcohol and weed and I think i will just be sane enough.

Reflecting on recent events -

How often do you phone friends or family?

Are you phoning more than emails during this pandemic?

What ways are you trying to keep sane?
