Had a nice melted cheese jacket potato with  a fried egg topping for dinner. The combination was delicious.

So, do you like cheese, and if so , what is your favourite cheese?

Do you like the sound of chalk scraping on a blackboard?

Merlin or Gandalf?

1. Blue Cheeses and Soft Cheeses, the Stinkier the better

2. Doesn't bother me at all

3. Merlin. He's Doctor Who after all...

I love lots of cheeses, but I have become a huge fan of a white goat cheese called Topsfield Tuffet. It is made just south of the place where I take photos of the beach.

Nope to the chalk board sound

Merlin or Gandalf...that is hard...when I was younger I thought they were the same ;-) I am rather fond of Nichol Williamson's movie portrayal of Merlin.

Picking a favorite cheese is like trying to choose a favorite child! I'll pick two favorites depending on my mood for kind of texture. For soft: burrata. For harder: Smoked swiss

Someone actually likes that sound? Yikes.

Gandalf - he seems to have more of a sense of humor and also is more loyal.

Hmmmm... probably smoked provolone.

No, it makes my teeth hurt.

Hmm. I don't think I could make that choice. And what about Dumbledore?

Your dinner sounds delicious. My daughter loves to dress up potatoes w. cheese and everything else.

A 2 year aged gouda for a hard cheese is my new favorite. For softer cheeses I like a creamy Brie or Camembert.

The sound of chalk on a chalkboard would bother me now bc of ear/head issues but in school/college it was a comforting sound. I did not like when one of the professors used the squeaking markers on the clear projector - she wanted to be in back of the class and be able watch everyone but the noise was horrible. Not as bad as fingernails on a chalkboard but definitely headache making.

Oh, I don't think I prefer one over the other - they're both incredible in their own ways.

I like cheese only when cooked with something. I'm a fan, but it has to be melty.

Sharp cheddar. :D

Chalk, yes - fingernails, no! LOL!!

Gandalf. Every time.

*HUGS*

I grew up on the fake stuff. My favorite cheese is Velveeta. It makes the best grilled cheese sandwiches. :p

GRINGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Merlin please. :)
Hugs, Jon

these jacket potato meals sound delicious. Is that like a twice baked potato?

I love cheese. Pinpointing a favorite would be hard. but I do love swiss, smoked cheddar, edam, gouda, peperjack, and havarti.

nails n chalkboard no thatnk you lo.

hmm Merlin or Gandalf that is a hard one. I think I would say Merlin. Especially if it is the Merlin from old Arthurian tales like the Finovar Tapestry trilogy by Guy Gavriel Kay

Bufala mozzarella, but there are few kinds I'd turn down.

It doesn't bother me unless it SCRAAAAPPESS

Erm, I dunno. Obi Wan?

Oh, yummy!

Yes, I do like cheese and my favourite is Warwick Mild.

No, but it doesn't gross me out as much as some people :P

Merlin. I didn't like Gandalf in some ways.

1. I prefer hard cheeses over soft cheeses in general. Picking a favorite is tough, but I will go with extra sharp New York or Vermont cheddar ~preferably aged 4 or 6 years.

2. Chalk on a chalkboard doesn't bother me, but fingernails on a chalkboard .....EEEEEK!!!!

3. Merlin vs Gandalf: no preference.

You have better cheeses, but while I love quite a large range... there's a mild goat's milk feta I am addicted to. Smoked cheese make me ridiculously happy. And tasty flavoured with capscum or bust tomato is yummy.

Having not heard it for so long, I can't remember...

I like different versions of both :)

Hmmm, I pretty much like all cheeses, but I'm partial to gouda.

It doesn't bother me, if that's what you mean.

Gandalf. At least he wasn't having it on with a watery tart.

I Like the sound of your dinner! 'jacket potato' is not a familar term, but I'm guessing it's what we would call a 'baked potato', cooked (and eaten) with the skin still on. I usually have mine with butter and salt, plus a veg or two and maybe a burger. NOW I'm hungry again!!LOL! And it's only 9 AM!!

I love Swiss cheese, but I like a lot of other kinds, too.

No, chalk scraping reminds me of grammar school; best forgotten!!

slight preference for Gandalf. No particular reason.

I enjoy many cheeses. A friend from work and I went out for burgers tonight. I had bleu cheese and bacon in mind, but when she said grilled onion and mushroom with provolone, I followed her lead. Delicious!

Chalk on the board, as intended, is fine. The nasty squeaking or fingernails are cringe-inducing.

Can't recall Merlin's screen presence, although I know who he is. I liked Gandalf.

Cheddar.

Do not care at all for the sound of chalk scraping against a chalkboard.

Gandalf.

I love cheese! No favorites -- I just like certain kinds with certain things. Even just eating plain, I have different moods.

None of those blackboard sounds bother me.

I'd go for Gandalf, because sometimes Merlin is creepy.

I like cheddar, or a nice creamy Port Salut or ripe Camembert
