Have you taken a day off work just for the hell of it?

Was there a job you wanted but was overlooked?

What would be your perfect job?

Ummm...when I was working, yes. But that was in a poor working environment and where I was not indispensable.

Nope, never had that experience.

I used to really want to be a teacher, but not any more!

yes

many when I was unemployed.

I wanted to work in a small office of a non profit so I was helping people... then the lack of social in my non work time would not matter as I was doing something important.

Not as a rule. I was brought up that you work when you are supposed to.

Nope. I've gotten every job I've really gone after.

It would be in the scene shop as the shop foreperson, but ten years of that left me with eight inches of steel in my back, so I'm just happy to have a good job now and people willing to work with my disabilities. Sure miss the salary, though.

No, I am pretty good at showing up when and where I'm expected and plan my personal stuff for weekends and Wednesdays (which are a day off for me).

No, I've been fortunate to get just about every job I've applied for over the years (mostly nannying, but Long Distance Operator, substitute teacher and file clerk are in there, too.

I'd love another nanny job with ages 3 and up. I will be looking soon, as in the family I'm with now, both kids are teens.

No. I already take too many days off because I feel like crap.

Oh, yes. I applied at the library numerous times.

Librarian.

Alas, yes I have!

Several times.

Ohhh, that would take a while to described, but: pays well, is challenging and ever-changing, I'm appreciated for my efforts and counseled appropriately (and with knowledge) when I do something wrong. Where I am left to do my work and have some interaction with people, but very limited.

*HUGS*

I have but not for a long time now. If I do that it's counted against me just like a sick day and we are only allowed 10 of those in a 12 month period, and they use a rolling 12 month period now. UGH........

Not that I recall.

Independently wealthy. I want to be an activist that can fly any where to join in on protests for things or against things. :)
I know I am WEIRD. lol.........
Hugs, Jon

Once in a while on a nice summer day I'd call in saying there was too much snow and I couldn't get to work.

I've never thrown a sickie but I have booked a day's leave just because I fancied it.

I did once fail to get a job I thought I wanted but in hindsight I realise I'd have hated it and I love what I do, mind you I might well be out of a job at the end of July so we shall see.

Have you taken a day off work just for the hell of it?
Yes. I was not the world's best employee when I was working.

Was there a job you wanted but was overlooked?
Yes, a promotion. But they gave it to an airhead instead. Sigh.

What would be your perfect job?
Now? I want to work in a cave away from other people. I want a widescreen teevee, fast internet, hot tubs, clear ocean water. Oh, and writing and arting and taking pictures. Yeah. Did I mention that loud noises drive me batty?

I'd love just to HAVE a day of work, just for the hell of it.

Most of my life is comprised of jobs I wanted but I was overlooked for. Every now and then, I am lucky and I book the role.

I have my perfect job. I'm lucky that way. :)

yeah
