Today In The Bourne

My bro came at around 11.30 this morning. Weather was decidedly iffy and whilst we were biting into our wraps at the big M the heavens opened severely. Now , it is sunny and warm , and i spent an hour on a bench smoking my pipe and watching the world go by.

I have also sent the recording dongle back to the research company and in the library as i write.


Bro came with bags of goodies, including a box of books, a mix of paperbacks and hardbacks which i am eager to read. He also brought some clothes, that is, T shirts and a pair of denims, a battery operated shaver, a hair dryer, some utensils, a kettle, and a Timex watch, plus 50g of pipe tobacco, and at Asda George, a pair of shoes, which i am now wearing to get use to them.

Going to Spoons for a quick pint next.

Sounds like typical summer, too. Some rain and then the sun comes out and it is warm :)
