Crap morning after such a nice Sunday weekend
Pissing down with rain.
Feels more like winter again.

And i am going to Margate , supposedly,
To do another mystery shop deferred from last week.
Yet the weather is bleak.

Typical British weather -
Having to get the raincoat out
I suppose it is better than a drought.

Winter in summer. Aaagh!

Yeah, better than a drought, I guess.

Still, I don't like the idea of yu being cheated of your summer.

I noticed this is a poem, btw :)

Send the rain vibes over to my place. Goodness knows how much living in a desert makes you crave it :)

We had storms roll through last night. I was sitting with a confused patient and watching the lightening flashing outside the window. lol...

The Eve of St Agnes

One of my favourite poems is The Eve of St Agnes by John Keats. Here is the first verse...

St. Agnes' Eve—Ah, bitter chill it was!
The owl, for all his feathers, was a-cold;
The hare limp'd trembling through the frozen grass,
And silent was the flock in woolly fold:
Numb were the Beadsman's fingers, while he told
His rosary, and while his frosted breath,
Like pious incense from a censer old,
Seem'd taking flight for heaven, without a death,
Past the sweet Virgin's picture, while his prayer he saith.
