Sonorous Sunday

Another fine sunny day and somewhat cooler after the recent hot and humid days we have had. Spent most of the day reading as i have three books on the go at the moment, one on radio history, one on Victorian art, and a novel.
Today i had a double pepperoni pizza from Aldi for 80 p and it was absolutely delicious.I am having to be so frugal at the moment due to lack of the mula,or folding money.
The wild rabbits were frolicking in the gardens this morning chasing each other and well, you just had to smile. They could be hares actually, but it was fun to watch.
I was listening to a CD by Anita Baker - along with artists like Carmen Lundy, and the late Minnie Ripperton these are sonorous voices that makes a Sunday pleasant.

Date: 2016-07-24 05:32 pm (UTC)Horrible cousin sold property - moved in with girlfriend - i had to leave - end of May.
One week being homeless - then found a room at this hostel - designed to get people back on track and you stay up to 2 years here. Just started to use the council website tp bid for new rented property.
It has been a tough year so far.

Date: 2016-07-25 09:33 am (UTC)That pizza sounds absolutely delicious. And what a price!
Love rabbits :) See them at my daughter's, as I have said. I have hares here. I don't see them much. They are not in the numbers of rabbits. The rabbits at my daughter's are all colours. The hares here are always the same browny colour.

Date: 2016-07-26 01:05 am (UTC)Similarly Morrison's - just that bit out of the way. Still, I should see sometime if they still have that lovely Italian style ham at the deli counter.. that said, economy dictates my meaty snacking is now largely occupied by the dirt cheap "cooking bacon" at Sainsbury and Tesco, or the occasional bit of reduced haslet. =:9
And yay for feisty buns! Even when "mine" aren't up to anything in particular, I enjoy simply watching them go about their business. I'd imagine they're more likely to be rabbits than hares, given hares tend to be more solitary, whilst Oryctolagus cuniculus is particularly social.
