What has been the biggest surprise in your life so far?

Are you one who likes surprises?

Have you surprised somebody else for it to backfire?

The surprise party my hubby did for my 50th birthday. It was great.

Yes.

Nope - at least not yet.

Finding my 'family' and happiness through a chatroom so many years ago.

That would depend on my mood :)

Not that I can recall...

I don't like surprises. Most of life surprises are bad. The good ones are good not because they are surprises, but because they are good things.

Falling in love was quite a surprise, especially with someone of the same gender. ^_^ Would that it had lasted longer than two years, but.. it was a very happy two years, especially finally getting to meet them IRL for the first time. ^_^

I love (good) surprises. I'm definitely not one bound by routine.

Not really, thankfully. Though it was tricky making sure the aforementioned was indeed going to be at home one time, when I turned up unannounced after an eight hour flight. =:)

Not to be a bummer, but the biggest surprise in my life was taking my mom to the ER one night and her dying within 3 hours. :(

I like little surprises.

Hmm, Not a real backfire really, but maybe you could say a wee bit of revenge? lol........
Hugs, Jon

Running into a friend I had not seen in 20 years.

No, I do not like surprises.

Can't think of any instances off the top of my head :P

1. Apparently having a daughter (I don't BTW, a customer mistook little Hannah for my daughter), lead some amusing sitcom like scenarios

2. Sometimes.. depends on their nature.

3. Sort of... I bought a cup of tea for a sleeping friend, tapped her on the shoulder and she punched me in the face and rolled over back to sleep.
