Date: 2016-09-21 04:08 am (UTC)we had swans in vancouver stanley park for years, then the parks decided to cull them, due to them polluting the lagoon..
people protested, rallied to "save the swans"
and then there was the 'adolescent' swan problem, because they do breed even in captivity
apparently they are a veritable crap factory when collected in small areas, not to mention the tourists were being forced to step around that
swan songs
