Listening and Reading

jazzy_daveThe free breakfast this morning was filling. The usual three rashers of bacon, two eggs, two sausages, mushrooms and beans as well as two slices pf toast,a bowl of multi grain Cheerios, and a cup of coffee.
The weather this morning was overcast and it rained severely for a while but brighten uo by the afternoon. I did one telephone mystery shop which i was going to do on Tuesday but the research company gave me an extension.
Tomorrow i am doing a pub food and drink visit in Sheerness,and i will go for the lamb shank on the menu.
Most of the day has been one of reading and listening to a radio drama.This time the radio drama was Call Of The Dead .
I have been reading upon modern European art history and a book on Beethoven. I also finished off a novel by Angela Carter.
In other news, talking to Colin the other day,he had seen ,t cousin on the train going home, and they had a chat in which the erstwhile cousin said that he had given up drinking. Yeah right i though - i wonder how long that will last.

Hmmm...could be your cousin's girlfriend's influence. I hope it lasts but you have been through it so many times you will have become cynical.
