Definitely. Kids only trick-or-treat at houses with a lit jack-o-lantern, so I'll make at least one. I usually make a pumpkin and chicken dish for the freezer this time of year, and pumpkin soup if I have enough left over.
I'm getting three fresh pumpkins for my furred managers (they use them for toys) and I use tinned pumpkin puree for curried pumpkin soup (they leave the soup alone, especially when I use extra curry powder I adore hot curry.)
