jazzy_daveGoing through the Ace Records catalogue online i can see why Stephen would not want to look at the catlogue.Just tooo many goodies for us to afford i am afraid,esp. for me the soul and blues side of things.
Did an excahnge at Acroos The tarcks and got the Battles EP (Warp 2006) which was one of those on my wants list. It is two Cd's of wonderful heavy math rock workouts. Also from the same exchange got Paul Haig's "Cinematique , Themes For Unknown Films Vol. One" (LTM Records) - the label which gave us the great Surrealism and Dada Revisited Cd and Biting Tongues reissues.
Finished listening to all five CD's of "Archive GRM" ,a marvelous collection of electronic and acousmatic works from the GRM facilities in Framce.
Bank Holiday this weekend and the Joe Boyd / Robert Wyatt discussion is soon upon us.Can't wait for that one.
