I keep hearing that the Democrats do not have a deep bench, as in who is going to lead the party. Clinton, Biden, Sanders are too old. And I think it is overblown a bit. but Elizabeth Warren is exactly the name I was thinking. With luck.

I really have my doubts about us ever having a female president. Certainly not in my lifetime.

I love Michelle Obama, but I think the double handicap of being female and a person of color would be too much to overcome in the next, say, 50 years. We've seen the obstruction her husband has faced because of his skin color. I'd vote for her in a heartbeat, though!

I didn't think we would ever have a Black president, but we did. I doubt it will happen again for many years, but we did.

I really don't think Michelle will run. Maybe I should say I hope she doesn't. I love Michelle, but enough of the family ties. The same with Chelsea. If they are smart, they will stay away from the White House.

Hey, I get you that you're pissed about things. I don't think you're entirely well informed about some of those things, but I get that you're pissed. But trans people (among others) are going to have a reeeaaaal rough time of it right now, and with that in mind, it would be cool of you to at least not use slurs (not trans and can't claim to speak for them, but the word tranny, especially in a pejorative sense, is definitely a slur).

i sad it's not personal, but where it has affected me personally and cause me to become disenfranchised it has become personal. i am looking for healing and people who would like to discuss things openly regardless of position, because i think the world needs to step up to that or we're hooped. we might as well join the animals into extinction or the radical fundamentalist into jihad.

If you're wondering what words to use to describe someone who's had gender correction surgery, it's generally given as "transwoman" or "transman." If you're wondering what words to use to describe someone who happens to be attracted to a transwoman or transman, there isn't currently a specific appellation for that. If a straight man is attracted to a transwoman, he's still straight; if a lesbian is attracted to a transwoman, she's still a lesbian.

i am coming from the handicap of what is called old school ))) in those days people used the word fag for anything they didn't understand, which was weird because it also means cigarette..gay also meant to be happy, i think people who are onlookers get confused by all this.. i've only recently begun understanding lgbt properly, and now there is lgbdt (disadvantaged). i think a universal term to use as condescending would be, "you stupid fuck". like in american sub culture.. ugh!
