The final showdown with Giles, King of the Vampires is at hand. However, even if they beat him, the price will be high. Buffy and her friends must find a way to send Buffy-at-nineteen back before she made the fatal mistake that caused all of this.
The only complaint I have about this is that although most of the dialogue is very true to the show, Anya's lines all ring flat. Fortunately she doesn't figure much in the tale. Besides that, the action is well-rendered (I had much less trouble visualising the scenes than I did in the last couple volumes in the series), and the story itself is very compelling. Very well done.
