jazzy_daveI have taken the plunge and ordered the seven CD box set of Dinu Lipatti two days ago that was first mentioned in Wire back in 1991. They sound remarkably clear and fresh despite being mono and from the forties and fifties.
The box set arrived yesterday and I have been listening to the set.
A bargain at £12 no matter what.
This was the EMI box set from 1991 - now 7 CD's for £12 at Amazon, and on Warners since they took over the EMI Record label.
