Via ChiffChaff i heard the sad news of Arthur Lee passing away over the weekend at age 61,lead guitarist with seminal rock group Love,hence my Sunday playlist featured two of their albums from the sixties. The "Forever Changes" LP was one of those stoned pyschedellc rock classics of the sixties that together with early Jefferson Airplane albums and the Grateful Dead defined the Californian hippy scene.Anyway there is a nice obituary in the Saturday Guardian at http://arts.guardian.co.uk/news/story/0,,1837893,00.html

I forgot to mention this on Sunday when i did the playlist.Haven't got round to doing more reviews for the WEIRDOUNDZ site yet.Will do sometime soon.
