The digital set top box is still not right so another call to NTL to sort it.Engineer now tomorrow morning.Too late to renew the visit for today. Bugger it. I shall urge him to replace it with anew box.

Connected my Bush record deck to the PC now and it sounds good. Now i will be able to rip Lps to the PC and burn onto blank CDR's.

I have been wanting to do this for some time as i have quite a few rare Lp and 7" items not even seen daylight on CD that i want preserving in some way and now i have the means. So i did a test run with a Simon H Fell elcronic music 7" ditty and covertedit to a Wav format. Next step conversion from .wav to mp3 format,then you can burn it or stick it on your iPod.
