It was a good trip to London yesterday and enjoyed the Kippenberger and Roth exhibition. This morning a quick visit to the boot sale at the station picked up some cheap cheap vinyl stuff, esp two interesting library music albums,"Popcorn" by Hot Butter LP, a nice jazz album by Graham Collier from 1971 (Polydor), and a BBC Sound Effects LP vol 4 in the series. Also picked up a nice copy of The Mondo User's Guide (THames and Hudson paperback) for only £1.

Other releases include a great mento collection from Friday called "Take me To Jamaica" (Pressure Sounnds CD) from an exchange at Across The Tracks,so didn't cost me a thing, and today from Resident the newly released "A Lazarus Taxon" by Tortoise (Thrill Jockey),a 3CD box set with DVD of rare and remixed material plus the complete hard-to-find "Rhythms Resolutions and Clusters" album from 1994) for only £13.99. Great musc, great stuff.

Did another tourist information centre survey here in sunny brighton. All 27 done - well very short survey - no more than 5 mins max per interview.

The second engineer came today and totally replaced the defective NTL cable box with a brand new spanking shiny silver Samsung box.

Also nice to get the old broadband back up to its fast usual speed.
