Lunch Club Day

Another great lunch in Brighton with the lads (my brother, Graeme and Phil) and Lesley, who always turns up late.. Anyway we first met at the Post and Telegraph for a couple of beers. We had a lovely session ale called Evil Elf (4.5 % ABV). Two pints later we decided to walk down to Bella Italia for lunch. We had a lovely starter , mini dough balls served with garlic and herb butter. Main lunch was lasagna. The guys had the traditional beef one and i had the chicken version. Everything washed down with a couple of bottles of the house wine.
Lovely jubbly!



This is the chicken version, which is layers of fresh pasta and slices of roast chicken breast in a cheese sauce. Yummy!

After lunch and we said our goodbyes and Phil and myself walked down Bond Street so i could get some pipe tobacco from Taylors.

We arrived back in Sittingbourne at around six. I went home , had a coffee, relaxed for awhile, snoozing off, and then realising i need to blog again.

We hope to get one more lunch club done in December before Xmas comes.
