Lewes Visit

Well, the snow did come this morning and parts of Kent and Sussex was well under it. But by the time I woke up, after drifting in and out of sleep this morning, and finally getting up after midday, all the bad weather had gone. The roads were clear.

So, as GC wanted to get out of the house we travelled in her car over to Lewes so that I could do my charity shop visit there. The fact that it was closed did rather annoy me as most if the shops in the town wee open. I took a couple of pics of the closed shop as proof and contacted the company about it so that I would still be paid for the visit.

I did take a few pics of the town and had a pint of beer at the Gardner Arms – a delicious Salopian Lux Nova (5/2 % ABV).



Tomorrow, as it is a fairly uneventful day, i will travel back to Kent after the last two visits, before the snowstorms hit on Thursday and Friday. Apparently these will be the worst two days before it becomes much milder the following week. I can always nip to see GC again when the weather improves.
