jazzy_daveAnother Performing Rights Society (PRS) job last night at Event II Brighton - this time my first DJ one and i joined the DJ in his central DJ booth. A mixture of house,R&B,classic disco and some indie - basically a mixed bag of good,OK and the damn awful!! Best of the bunch "Love Generation" by Bob Sinclair and "Mr.Big Stuff" by Jean Knight (a funky Stax number from 1972). Strange that the latter by Ms Knight has always been a disco favourite but it never charted here in the UK. Anyway a good job well done with lots of help from the DJ with the tracks i did not know,especially two "white labels".
