Steve Reich - Three Movements
The RCM Symphony Orchestra and RCM New Perspectives Ensemble, conducted by Timothy Lines, perform Steve Reich's mesmerizing Three Movements.
Reich was the composer in residence during the RCM's 'Exploring Minimalism' series in March 2016, during which time he also received an honorary doctorate.
This performance was recorded in the Amaryllis Fleming Concert Hall, Royal College of Music, London.
I love the ending when Steve Reich congratulates the orchestra and conductor.
Enjoy.
