Watched the two rental DVDs today, the Frank Miller "Sin City" - a great adaption by Rodriquez, and the shocking but true story of "Wolf Creek", and after these two the next film I watch will be a gentle one.

Bought two CDs from The Amnesty Shop who are selling a load of Finnish classical music label Finlandia  CDs for £2 each.  Esa Pekka Salonen "Mimo II ,Yta I - III ,Concerto For Alto Sax and Orchestra, Floof" recorded with the Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra, and the second , Erkki-Sven Tuur "Symphony No.2 / Oratorio Ante Finem Saeculi" . Worth checking others out if you are into classical. Listening to the Oratorio is creepy, sounds like one of those black magic gatherings you see in Hammer Horror films , black mass chanting creepy music with brooding strings if you get my meaning, Scary in places.

Watching a DVD was a better bet than watching the Eurovision Sogn Contest anyday.

I forgot to tell you that you should give Hannibal Rising a try. I had forgotten how beautifully and descriptively Harris wrote! I really felt in the story. Worth the read!
