Today's Music Finds

Back from the exit poll job and also a sandwich shop visit in Gillingham and a pub visit in Maidstone. So, the weekend has finally started now. Laughs!
I did manage to peruse some chazzers and picked up some bargains. The best of the bunch was the Charles Tolliver CD, which came out in 2006 and reviewed in Wire 2007, and I had on my wants list from Amazon - new at £16! From Oxfam in Rochester just £2 in nearly new condition.
These are the finds today -
Charles Tolliver Big Band - With Love (Blue Note)
Sun House - Delta Blues (Snapper Music)
Irakere - Felicidad (Ronnie Scotts Jazz House)
Sam Cooke And The Soul Stirrers - In The Beginning (Ace)
Burton Corea Metheny Hayes Holland - Like Minds (Concord)
Julie London - Cry Me A River (Music Club)
Count Basie - The Definitive (Ken Burns Jazz / Verve)
Gavin Bryars - The Sinking Of The Titanic (Point Music)
The latter CD is a modern classical one and was just fifty pence whilst the others were a quid each.
So tomorrow will be a listening day.
