Well, the footfall count has been done. 586 people passed the designated site within the eight hours I was there. Sounds a lot, but when you compare it with say a busy road in Brighton it is a small number. Once, I did one in Canterbury and the total was 2034 in the eight hours.
So yes, very quiet.

I had a break in which I perused the charity shops and had a sandwich. I found a chazzer selling four CD's for a quid, and I bought eight, which are mostly from the Capitol label and from the great fifties and sixties of jazz vocals and easy listening era. Details later.

Luckily the weather stayed dry all day, despite being cool and mostly cloudy. The street in this quaint village of Birchington had plenty of seating for me to sit and count the people walking by via the app provided by the research company.

I also went for a sneaky pint of ale at the local micropub, an IPA of 6.2 % ABV strength and only £3.60 a pint!

So tonight, lots of listening to do.
