Actually got some work done today and did a mystery shop at ITSU as a takeaway in Jubilee Place,Canary Wharf, London and then to the Isle of Dogs to do this corporate survey job.

In my travels found a super abundent charity shop and a bric a brac shop in Poplar,London with some great vinyl finds and very cheap lt was too -

Esquivel - The Best of Esquivel (RCA 1966 LP) for £3  - lovely Lp in great condition
Donald Byrd- The Best of Donald Byrd (Blue Note 1976 LP) £1 -  yep an amazing quid!
Buddy Rich Big Band - Big Swing Face (Liberty  - the Lp with "The beat Goes On" for £2
Al Kooper - The Landlord Original Film Soundtrack (United artists) - some good funky stuff here £4
Various Artists - Super Stereo (CBS) 50p - for Mongo Santamaria's "Louie Louie"
Various Artists - Quadrophonic Sampoler (Pye) £1 - just for the Lopez mad take on "Spinning Wheel"

More grooves for your hooves.

PRS tonight at The Engine Room til about 10.30pm but got the set list from all the bands playing and buggered off as it was extreme metal night played very very loudly.Earplugs essential!
