jazzy_daveA mixed bag weatherwise. We had sunshine, moments of torrential rain, and back to sunshine again. A cool morning and more muggy afternoon. Go figure?
I popped into town for the first of the three days half-price food visits in the pub. I had the mixed grill washed down with a hammerhead ale called Valkyrie. I think even Thor would have approved.
I posted four items today - all sales from eBay - a CD, two books, and a negro spiritual songbook.
Listened to some of Schubert's Winterreise from the Hyperion Schubert edition which contains a 100-page booklet - such scholarship. There are 35 CDs in the whole edition but I only have three of his major song cycles.
More work available this week and the end of the month.
Things are looking up.
