Igor Stravinsky - Agon (1957)

BBC Symphony Orchestra directed by Gennady Rozhdestvensky.

Live recording, Festival Hall, London, 28.10.1981.

Agon is one of these works in which Stravinsky prepared his "conversion" to serialism. The score sounds however most often tonal, but we have a clear feeling that something had drastically changed since the neoclassical period.
