Reconnecting

jazzy_daveWell, it has been quite a Bob Dylan day having listened to both his latest album, Rough and Rowdy Ways, and his previous collection of the American songbook, Triplicate. It proves that even a septuagenarian as Bob can still bring out such wonderful records. Then there is the octogenarian, Shirley Collins, with her latest collection of songs on Heart's Ease. I really love these albums.
Talking of matureness, I have reconnected with two old friends from Rugby via email and by phone - Gareth, and Steve, as I have not seen either for ages and I wondered how they were doing. We were all at the same school back in the day. Of course, I pointed them towards my LJ site. It the best way they can keep informed of my activities.
Talking of music, the next post will be a music post.
