Diggin' Back Into My Own Collection

jazzy_daveTalking of CDs from my collection that has gathered dust and needs listening to again are two by Radiohead. The wonderful "In Rainbows" and the experimental brilliant "Kid A".
So I listened to these again this evening to find that they still thrill and refresh me. Also, another great album I reconnected with is King Crimson's "Islands".
The CD version I have of Islands is an HDCD reissue from 2004. In 2009 Wire magazine did a Primer on the discography of King Crimson. There is more of a classical and jazz lilt to this album especially the title track.
