Help Needed

MY husband and I both worked at the same place and we were doing quite well - until we were contracted out (as in our contracts were abruptly ended) from our jobs for previous illnesses and following protocols for our temp service when it comes to Covid-19 exposure (luckily, our little family all came up negative for our Covid tests). We were unable to work out the rest of our week, which would have given us just enough to pay for the rent that is due on the 5th and get us by for the next week. Now we need to pay that rent and have enough left over for the week, as we search for new jobs. Our last two days would have given us about $260 a-piece, so we are short by (rounded down) $500, which would allow us to squeak by with rent and give us enough to last for the next few days.
