As we get older do you think we get weirder or at least more unconventional?

Is it in our DNA?

Or is it that uncertainty about the future and the undiscovered country that informs our conclusion that we don't give an eff anymore?

I think the weirdness calcifies. You have more specific hills that you'll die on.

I think you care less about what other people think of you, and it becomes clearer to you which of the unconventional things about you are too important to you to change or hide.

As a general trend, people tend to get more conservative as they age. It's been studied and documented that they're more likely to likely to vote against tax increases for schools and such as they and frequently their children and grand kids are out of that age range so screw that, why should they pay more taxes? They also tend to vote Republican as a block.

Me, I intend to stay my same old weird self.
