jazzy_daveI had to replace the stylus on my Ortofon Pro DJ cartridge today. I have a Technics 1210 mk II turntable. It cost £35 for just the needle! Still, it is top quality and gives me a superb sound as i shall be using it on the 21st to help Rick The hat at the Hope.
Sad to see Fred go from the Hampton. His food was top notch and always delicious. I shall miss his meals and hope that whoever the new guys hire will be just as good.
Sunday did the 7 Inch Sunday thing at the Hampton. Enjoyed doing it but disappointed that nobody came to play their seven inch favourites, but give it time,and i think punters will come back. They get a free drink themselves and happy hour prices for their mates,so i cannot see people turning that down.
Tomorrow is FTLC day and hopefully a new member, Pat, drinking colleague at the Evening Star.
