Precipitation

On waking up this morning ab initio I knew it was going to be a bad day. Precipitation outside and plenty of cumulus clouds to dampen the spirits. Great!

I plucked on my theorbo (an early version of a lute) and got ready to go to Sittingbourne for a midday mystery shop The fact that I have to go back tomorrow to sign on again was not lost on me but I could not move the shop to the following day.

I took my copy of Rousseau’s “The Social Contract” to read on the bus.

Had a pint of Old Speckled Hen at the Summoner before returning to sleepsville.

This means my visit to Brighton will have to start later tomorrow or on Saturday morning. Hopefully, the weather will be more clement by then
