All Kind of Things

Wednesday was a wash out. Heavy rain most of the day. Did very little apart from phoning social services to collect the various bits and pieces , including the commodes, that are taking up space in the front bedroom.
The old clothes that belonged to my cousin’s deceased Pater have gone now. There wasn’t much left , but I did find out that there is a charity shop distribution centre in the village which took the stuff.
Today has been really warm and I took the opportunity to go out into the garden with the cats. They love to go out, especially Jasper , but we just make sure they do not roam too far, as the house is on the busy main A2, and the alleyway from the garden leads to it.
I hope tomorrow is just as warm and sunny, as I am going over to Sittingbourne and then, perhaps, Faversham or even Canterbury. I will probably peruse the charity shops for vinyl and books as it is now getting to the point that I will need to restock.
I have been enjoying the BBC books season but I do need to use catch up TV to watch them as it clashes with programmes that Tim wants to watch, and he is less cultured than I am. This is why when a quiz has anything remotely classical music related he is stumped. His knowledge of indie music and sport is quite astounding, and Infact, his general knowledge on all kind of things, makes him a good quiz team player. I would love to have him on a team in Brighton.
