Pithy Ale!

I had to help the invalided cousin to do his shopping this morning, as with his trapped nerve situation, he cannot carry heavy bags. We ended up in the Summoner pub for a few drinks before getting the bas back to base camp. I tried one ale called Taking The Pith (5.0 % ABV) , a light coloured lemon and lime flavoured beer. A tasty quaffable ale indeed!

Afternoon in Canterbury on a visit. Bought two books from a charity shop. A crime novel by Peter James “Dead Simple” (Pan) and Eldridge Cleaver “Soul On Ice” (Jonathan Cape). 

So if i stay awake i shall attempt to read more of that sapphic pot boiler of a book..
