Liver and Tin Tin

jazzy_daveToday we had lovely soft lambs liver cooked in butter and supplemented by new potatoes and vegetables. The reason I mention it is that lambs liver is one my favourites and it brighten ups any Sunday.
This morning I watched the football highlights especially to see the Chelsea v. Arsenal débâcle. Chelsea lost 5 – 3.
I have been reading the Arts and Books section of yesterday's Guardian. The Tin Tin movie got panned by the critics ad yet I really enjoyed the film. This evening on BBC2 correspondent Frank Gardner went in search of the origins of Herge's intrepid reporter,the cartoon character which inspired him to travel and report from the world's hot spots.
I did not realise that the first Tin Tin comic strip was so political despite it being aimed at kids.
