Well I did go to Faversham this morning rather than the previous day. Picked up some more pipe shag and perused the charity shops. Bought four books for 25p each from the one in Preston Street opposite the Wetherspoons pub. They were -
“The World According To Clarkson” Jeremy Clarkson
(this one strictly for selling as i hate the geezer)
“The Wasp Factory” Iain Banks
“Women With Men” Richard Ford
“The Favourite Game” Leonard Cohen
A novel by singer songwriter Leonard Cohen is an unusual beast. I didn't know that he had written a novel.
I also picked up “Modernism, A Guide To European Literature” by Malcolm Bradbury (Penguin)
Plus a pint of beer in Wetherspoons made it a good hunting day for books to put on sale over at the Play trade site.
