Travelled early to get into Brighton this morning, so I could avoid the crowds.
First port of call was Rounder Records to get some vinyl mailers. I then popped into various charity shops and bought some cheap paperbacks.
Tony Benn “Free Radicals” (Continuum)
John Lair “The Diaries of Kenneth Tynan” (Bloomsbury)
Brian Cox & Jeff Forshaw “Why Does E=mc2? (Da Capo)
Margaret Attwood – Oryx and Crake (Virago)
and I also bought a CD half price from Borderline Records -
Various Artists “Americana, Blue Eyed Soul From The Land Of The Free”(BBE Records)
Then ended up at the Evening Star pub and had a pint and a half of the Magic Rock Dark Arts (6.0% ABV), and a half of Kernel Big Brick (8.9 % ABV).
These evening BRIGHTON BRILLO at the Northern Lights.
Saw Ali Smith and Gareth down in Wax Factor as well.
